Publication Ethics

ISR Publisher is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and integrity. We follow internationally recognized guidelines, including those established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All authors, reviewers, and editors involved in the publication process are expected to adhere to the following ethical standards:

1. Responsibilities of Authors

Originality and Plagiarism

  • All submissions must be the original work of the authors.
  • Manuscripts must not contain plagiarized content or material copied from other works without proper citation.
  • ISR Publisher uses plagiarism detection tools to screen for unethical practices. Submissions found to contain plagiarism or self-plagiarism will be rejected.

Multiple Submissions

  • Authors must not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously.
  • Redundant or duplicate publications are not allowed.

Authorship

  • Only individuals who have significantly contributed to the research and manuscript should be listed as authors.
  • All co-authors must approve the final version of the manuscript before submission.
  • Any changes in authorship must be communicated to the editorial board with a valid explanation.

Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest

  • Authors must disclose any financial or non-financial conflicts of interest that may influence the research.
  • Funding sources must be clearly acknowledged.

Data Accuracy and Availability

  • Authors are responsible for the accuracy of all data presented in their manuscript.
  • Raw data should be made available upon request for editorial or peer review purposes.

Ethical Approval

  • Research involving human or animal subjects must be conducted in accordance with relevant ethical guidelines.
  • Authors must provide details of ethical approval and informed consent, if applicable.

2. Responsibilities of Reviewers

Confidentiality

  • Manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents.
  • Reviewers must not share or discuss manuscripts with anyone outside the editorial team.

Objectivity and Constructive Feedback

  • Reviews should be objective, impartial, and provide constructive feedback to help authors improve their work.
  • Personal criticism is inappropriate and unprofessional.

Conflict of Interest

  • Reviewers must declare any conflicts of interest and decline the review if necessary.

Timeliness

  • Reviewers are expected to submit their reviews within the agreed timeline. Delays should be communicated to the editor promptly.

3. Responsibilities of Editors

Decision-Making

  • Editors are responsible for the final decision on whether a manuscript is accepted, rejected, or returned for revision.
  • Decisions must be based on the manuscript’s quality, originality, clarity, and alignment with the journal’s scope.

Fair Evaluation

  • Editors must ensure that submissions are evaluated fairly, regardless of the authors’ race, gender, affiliation, or nationality.

Confidentiality

  • Editors and editorial staff must not disclose information about a submitted manuscript to anyone outside the editorial process.

Addressing Misconduct

  • If ethical misconduct is suspected (e.g., plagiarism, data fabrication, unethical research), editors will investigate and take appropriate action.
  • This may include retraction, corrections, or notifying the authors’ institutions.

4. Handling of Misconduct

  • ISR Publisher takes allegations of misconduct seriously.
  • Suspected unethical behavior will be investigated thoroughly and transparently.
  • If misconduct is confirmed, appropriate corrective actions will be taken, including manuscript retraction, notification of employers or institutions, and publication bans.

5. Retraction Policy

Articles may be retracted under the following circumstances:

  • Evidence of plagiarism, fabricated data, or significant errors.
  • Ethical issues in research involving humans or animals.
  • Duplicate or redundant publication.

A retraction notice will be published explaining the reason for the retraction.
