Abstract: This research examines the scientific attitudes of school students, concentrating on traits such as curiosity, objectivity, rational thought, and open-mindedness. The primary objective was to assess the existing levels of scientific attitude and investigate variations based on gender, grade level, and academic achievement. A descriptive survey methodology was employed, encompassing 200 students from Grades 8 to 10 in both urban and rural educational institutions. Data were gathered using a standardized Scientific Attitude Inventory. The results indicated a moderate overall level of scientific attitude among students. Significant differences were observed in relation to gender and academic performance, while no substantial differences were identified based on the location of the schools. This study highlights the necessity for instructional methods that actively promote scientific thinking within educational settings.
