Abstract: The urachus is a fibrous remnant of the allantois that disappears after birth. In some cases, it may persist, in which case it is referred to as urachal abnormalities. This persistence of the urachus is manifested by abdominal pain and can be signaled by complications, the most common of which is infection. Infection can be misunderstood and confused with other pathologies, especially when associated with abdominal pain. In our case, we report a case of an infected urachal cyst, revealed by abdominal pain and fever.
